Control Module: Testing and Inspection
5 SPD.  A/T 01L AWD

Code Control Module (scan tool function 07)

The transmission Control Module (TCM) can be coded.

Connect Diagnosis and Information System VAS 5051 or VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST) and select "Transmission Electronics" with address word 02.
Ignition must be switched on. Ignition must be switched on.

Indicated on display:

Press buttons 0 and 7. (With 07, function "Control module, coding" is selected)

Note:  Coding can only be done with ignition switched on and in transmission ranges "P" or "N". Do not depress accelerator pedal. The car must
be stationary and the engine must not be started.
