Disconnect connector off throttle unit -1-.

-

Disconnect connector off charge air pressure sensor -2-.

-

Remove crankcase breather -3-.

-

Disconnect connector off intake air temperature sensor -4-.

-

Unbolt intake manifold using special tool 3249.

-

Remove connector from auxiliary water pump.

-

Pinch off water hoses using clamps 3094 for auxiliary water pump.

-

Remove auxiliary water pump.

Installing

Install in the opposite order to removing. When installing, note the following points:

Install lock carrier in normal position.  See: Body and Frame/Lock Carrier/Service and Repair/Procedures

Install bumper.  See: Body and Frame/Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Procedures

Tightening torques

M6 bolts 10 Nm
M8 bolts 20 Nm
Intake manifold to cylinder head 10 Nm
