Insert determined adjustment shim -1- and swing bracket for intermediate bearing -2 to other side.

Place second adjustment shim -4- onto stud -3-.

Now tighten both plastic nuts of installation device -arrow A- again.

Aligning driveshaft longitudinally

Using assembly appliance, push driveshaft toward the rear as far as it will go.

-

Mark position of center bearing in relation to body (arrow -A-).

-

Using assembly appliance, push driveshaft toward the front as far as it will go.

-

Mark position of center bearing in relation to body (arrow -B-).

-

Align driveshaft-arrow C-.

The center bearing must be aligned centrally between markings-A- and -B-.

Bolt on center bearing in center position (arrow -C-), tighten to 25 Nm.

Take off assembly appliance.

The remaining installation steps are carried out in the reverse sequence - note the following points:
