Install adjustment shim -2- and outer bearing race (for differential) in transmission housing by hand, until stop.

Replace O-ring (arrow).

Insert differential gear in transmission housing.

Install cover for final drive.

Tightening sequence:

Stage 1: tighten bolts -1-, -2- and -3- hand-tight.

Stage 2: tighten bolts -1- through -12- to final torque in specified sequence.

Install left drive flange.

-

Install right drive flange.

-

With transmission installed, check final drive fluid level and correct as necessary.
