10. Brake pad carrier with guide pins and protective cap

Supplied as replacement part fully assembled with sufficient grease on guide pins
If protective cap shows damage, install repair kit Part No.443 698 470
Use grease packet included in repair kit to lubricate guide pins

- Unscrew piston by turning threaded spindle counterclockwise, and simultaneously turning knurled wheel clockwise.

Note:

If piston does not move easily, a 73 mm open-end wrench can be used on the flats provided (arrow -A-).
