Battery: Service and Repair
Battery, Jump Starting

CAUTION!
Car with good battery must NOT be running when connecting jumper cables.

Connect jumper cables in following order:
1

One end of positive cable -red- to (+) post -1- of good battery

Other end of positive cable -red- to (+) post -2- of dead battery

One end of negative cable -black- to (-) post -3- of good battery

-

Other end of negative cable -black- to engine block -4- of car with dead battery

-

Start car with good battery first.

-

Next start car with dead battery.

-

Disconnect jumper cables in reverse order.
