Removing and Installing Clutch 

A =Centering tool 3176
-

Loosen or tighten bolts evenly and in stages, alternating in diagonal pattern.
*

Change position of holding tool 10-201 when removing.

Tightening torque: 25 Nm (18 ft lb) 

CAUTION!  

-

Pressure plate must fit over alignment pins and make complete contact with flywheel Do not insert the mounting bolts before this.

Under no circumstances should force be exerted on the pressure plate. Otherwise, centering holes in pressure plate and centering pins in flywheel
will be damaged.

Checking Ends Of Diaphragm-Spring 

-

Wear equalling up to half the diaphragm-spring thickness is permissible.

CAUTION!  For repairs, it is essential to match the clutch pressure plate and the clutch disc according to engine application using the Parts Information.
