Tailgate Lock And Handle Mechanism, Removing And Installing

Tailgate lock

NOTES:
-

The tailgate lock consists of two locks (two stage).

-

For installation to be correct, the tailgate lock must lock in the second stage (main lock).

-

To remove, swing out hinge arm - 2 - from operating rod - 4 - and unhook from tailgate lock.

-

Remove nuts - 3 - and remove tailgate lock.

After installing tailgate lock move operating rod over.

8 Nm (71 in.lb)
