Subtract 935 from the numerical value in field 4 (example 34231 - 935 = 33296 +/- 5); this will become your calibration value

Move drivers seatback towards sitting position until numerical value in Field 4 equals the calibration value

Press buttons -0- and -4- to select "Basic Setting" function 04

Press -Q- button to confirm

^

Press buttons -0-, -0- and -1-

Press -Q- button to confirm

The display should show "Basic Value Learned"

Press --> button

Recheck current numerical value in measuring block 2

Press buttons -0- and -8- to select "Read Measuring Value Block" function 08

Press -Q- button

^

Press -0-, -0- and -2- buttons

Press -Q- to confirm

Indicated on the display (example values) must be the average numerical value (32767) in Field 4

Press --> button and remove VAG 1551 from the vehicle

Proceed to Section D

Press memory button (arrow) and one memory location button simultaneously (e.g., P1, P2, P3)
