Power Seat Control Module: Recalls
Work Procedure

Section A - Check Seat Control Module Version

^

Connect VAG 1551 to vehicle and press button -1- to select "Rapid data transfer"

^

Press buttons -3- and -6- to check seat memory

^

Press -Q- button to confirm

^

Check seat memory control module version indicated on the display. Software version must be at least D05

^

If software version is correct, exit program and remove VAG 1551 as no other work is required

^

If software version is not correct, remove VAG 1551

Proceed to Section B

Section B - Install Seat Control Module

Move drivers seat to highest and most rearward position

^

Remove screw -1- at the front of the right side seat trim -4- of driver's seat

^

Remove screw -2- at the rear of the left side seat trim -3-

^

Raise rear of left seat trim, slide forward and remove from seat to expose seat memory control -5- and wire harnesses

^

Disconnect T6P connector (red) located under right front corner of driver's seat
