Center Instrument Panel Vent, Removing And Installing

Remove glove box

-

Instrument panel piece trim, removing

NOTE:  

The instrument panel vent -1- is fastened via clips -4- in the instrument panel.

-

Open vents -2-.

-

Insert special tool -A- in instrument panel vent and turn to disengage upper retainers.

-

Use screwdriver -B- to prevent upper retainers from engaging again.

NOTE:  If the lower retainers cannot be loosened from the front:

-- Remove entire center section of instrument panel and also reinforcement bracket.
-- Remove storage compartment on driver's side.
