Sender For Fuel Gauge -G, Removing and Installing

Removing

-

Remove closing flange fuel delivery module removing.

-

Carefully remove closing flange together with fuel pump module and set aside.

-

Remove harness connector for sender for fuel gauge on inside of closing connector.

-

Remove sender from accumulator housing while pressing down on release tabs (lower) -arrow-.

NOTE:  To make the illustration clearer, the accumulator housing is shown without the fuel tank.

Installing

Installation is the reverse of removal, however note the following:

-

Install sender for fuel gauge into guide at outside of accumulator and push in to stop.

-

Install closing flange together with fuel pump module and observe notes concerning reconnecting battery.
