Bonded rubber bushing must be inserted so that recess (arrow) faces marking -1-.
Eccentric hole (B) in bonded rubber bushing must point in direction of travel (arrow A).

Now attach bonded rubber bushing and special tools.

Note:  To press in the bonded rubber bushings use, for example, installation sliding oil G 294 421 A1

Make sure that bonded rubber bushing does not tilt while it is being pulled in, otherwise outer ring could be damaged!

Pull in bonded rubber bushing until chamfer (arrows) is in front of hole for axle body.

Now check whether chamfer of outer ring makes uniform contact. Correct installation position again, if necessary.

Now, slowly pull the bonded rubber bushing completely in.

Note:  While the bonded rubber bushing is being pulled in, the tools and bonded rubber bushing must be guided by a second mechanic.
