Air Spring: Diagrams

Assembly overview 

Tightening torque for all air lines on the Audi A6 is 2 Nm (9 inch lbs.). 
1 - Self-locking hex nut, 27 Nm

Always replace after disassembly

first remove air compressor plugs

2 - Air spring

3 - Shock absorber
4 - Clip
5 - Self-locking nut, tighten to 70 Nm + tighten another 90°.

Always replace after disassembly

6 - Washer
7 - Air spring shock absorbers
8 - Hex bolt M12 x 1.5 x 95

Always replace after disassembly

9 - Connection piece
10 - Air line
^

Clip the air lines into markings provided for them.

11 - Connection piece
12 - Hex bolt, 45 Nm
