Press new grooved ball bearing into mounting bracket.

Installing oil seal

Lightly grease outer circumference and sealing lip of oil seal with transmission fluid.

Drive in new seal until press piece impact. Do not bend or deform oil seal.

Installation position: gap in oil seal faces transmission.

Install magnetic ring for Speedometer Vehicle Speed Sensor-G22- -arrow- onto flange shaft.

-

The followers on the magnetic ring must mesh into the slots on the flange shaft.

Note:  Fix the location of the magnetic ring, if necessary, by coating the contact surface with petroleum jelly.
