Is mated with ring gear, always replace together as a set

Screw in two M8 x 30 hexagon bolts -A-.
B - Socket attachment (long) 36 mm A/F

The final drive must be supported when loosening the nut (e.g. using universal transmission attachment V.A.G 1359/2 in combination with
transmission jack V.A.G 1383 A).
