Before installing, make sure dowel sleeve -A- is correctly located.

Install gasket.

Install housing cover on intermediate flange for front final drive.
CAUTION: All-wheel drive vehicles: the sealing lips of the oil seal can be damaged if the intermediate flange is not installed on the output shaft
with sufficient care.
Tightening sequence:

Stage 1: tighten bolts -1-, -2- and -3- by hand.

Stage 2: tighten bolts -1- to -14- to specified torques in the sequence indicated.
Note: When tightening the bolts by hand (1st stage), make sure that the gap between the cover and the transmission housing decreases uniformly
all the way around the cover.

Fill with ATF, check ATF level and top up after repair.

Install transfer gear (where applicable).
