Mark position of component carrier on door using a fine felt-tip pen or equivalent.

Remove component carrier (Figure 1, Point 1). See front door and door component carrier, removing, in Repair Manual » Body Exterior, Front
Doors, Repair Group 57.

Remove bolts (Figure 1, Point 4) and open plastic window mount tabs.

6.

Lift window from plastic window mounts (Figure 1, Point 3).

7.

Remove damaged window mount from regulator. Rotate damaged window mount in direction of arrow shown in Figure 2.

8.

Remove damaged plastic window mount from regulator cable.

9.

Install new plastic window mount (Part No. 4B0 837 463) to regulator cable ensuring crimped ferrule is located in mount cavity as shown in
Figure 3.

10.

Apply grease (Part No. G 000 450 02) liberally to regulator where window mount travels along channel.
