Removing
Installation location: In bumper (arrows).

The following sensors can be removed without removing the rear bumper:

All sensors for sedan and Avant with trailer hitch

Inner sensors for allroad

Remove rear bumper for removing all other sensors.

Disconnect harness connector -1- at sensor.

Push both lugs to side (arrows).

Press sensor from outside toward the inside.
NOTE: To do so, a second mechanic may be required to push the sensor which has been removed from locking mechanism to the inside.

Remove sensor toward the inside.
Installing
Installation is the reverse of removal.
