Refrigerant Lines For Condenser
Refrigerant Lines For Condenser, Removing And Installing
NOTE:
-
The connection of the refrigerant lines differs, depending on engine type.
-
The construction of the condenser differs, depending on model year and engine type.
Disconnecting
-
Remove noise insulation:
-
Remove complete front bumper:
-
Discharge A/C refrigerant system:
Removing refrigerant lines on version "1" (two connectors)
-
Loosen connectors on refrigerant lines -A- and -B- (tightening torque -A- 30 Nm and refrigerant lines -B- 15 Nm)

Remove refrigerant line -A- and -B-.
NOTE:
-
Replace both O-Ring-seals -C- (14.0 mm x 1.8 mm) and -D- (10.8 mm x 1.8 mm).

Close all open lines and connections on condenser with suitable caps (avoid dirt and moisture from entering the system).
Removing refrigerant lines on version "2" (two block connections on left side)

Remove bolts -A- (tightening torque 20 Nm).

Remove refrigerant line from condenser.
NOTE:
