Adaptation (function 10)

individual functions are called up by entering the appropriate adaptation channel numbers (see adaptation table).  See: Table For Channels and Adaption

Initiating "Adaptation" function 10

Initiate output Diagnostic Test Mode of instrument cluster.  See: Adaptation Function Initiation

Adaptation Channel 40 -Distance Driven Since Service

This function is used to input the distance in miles since the last service.

Display on VAS5051:

Select function "40" in button field -2- For "Adaptation channel 40" and press Q button to confirm input.

Actual value in spec. in 100 mile increments.

Keypad - only direct input via the keypad is possible

The sliding bar is positioned on the current adaptation value, e.g. 8
Distance in miles since last service is indicated (here For example 8 represents 800 miles)

Note:

Input of current specified value is only possible in units of 100 miles, therefore indication in display also changes in 100 mile units.
