Axle Beam, Aligning to Vehicle

Transverse alignment of axle beam 

-

Determine distance between axle beam and side member.

-

Gap (a) should be the same on right and left

Longitudinal alignment of axle beam 

-

Measure dimension (a).
Dimension-a-: 504 ± 22 mm 
Tighten bolts for axle beam to 110 Nm + 90°.

After installation, position of steering wheel must be checked with a road test.

-

If the steering wheel is crooked, an axle alignment must be performed!
