Fluid Filter - A/T: Service and Repair

Oil Strainer, removing and installing, 5 Speed Automatic 01V

Removing 

-

Remove oil pan.

-

Remove two bolts of oil strainer-arrows-.

-

Pull oil strainer off valve body.

Installing 

-

Lightly coat suction shoulder of oil strainer with ATF.

-

Apply a thin coat of petroleum jelly to gasket on suction shoulder of oil strainer.

-

Bolt on oil strainer.

-

Install oil pan.

-

Change ATF or top up after repairs.

Tightening torque 

Oil strainer to valve body 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.)
