Affected Vehicles
32 MIL on, performance unaffected (DTC 17125/P0741)
Condition
Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) on, DTC 17125 (Torque converter clutch circuit performance or stuck off) stored in transmission fault memory.
This may be caused by torque converter internal oil seal failure.

Service
It is not necessary to receive an authorization number from the Technical Assistance Center for the repair described in this bulletin.
Attach VAS scan tool printouts to the repair order. Warranty requested documents received without VAS scan tool printouts will be denied payment.
The torque converter must be replaced.
The internal torque converter seal is not replaceable.
