Attach selector lever cable hand-tight to bracket-B-.

Attach bracket -B-hand-tight to transmission.

Note:  Do not bend or counter-hold the lever/shift rod when pressing on, since the skim mechanism will not be able to be adjusted exactly.

Attach selector lever cable to lever and selector shaft.

-

Straighten selector lever cable in bracket -B-.

-

Tighten bracket to transmission (arrows -1-) to tightening torque.

Tighten bracket to transmission -arrows 1- and selector lever cable to bracket -arrow 2- with proper torque. Counter-hold at hex head 3-.

Install heat shield -A-.

Note:  Bolt 3 can be longer for certain engine versions. In addition, a bracket for the exhaust system can be installed on it.
