Rearview Camera System Control Module

Rearview Camera System Control Module

The Rear View Camera System Control Module (J772) is located behind the luggage compartment right front side trim. 

-

If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault-Finding" routine. 

Use the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051A) to do so.

-

Turn off all electrical consumers.

-

Remove ignition key.

Removing

Vehicles with luggage compartment storage bin:

-

Open right luggage compartment storage bin.

Vehicles without luggage compartment storage bin:

-

Remove luggage compartment right side trim.

All vehicles:

The Rear View Camera System Control Module (J772) is only wedge into the bracket.

-

Disconnect connectors - 2 - on Rear View Camera System Control Module (J772) - 1 -. 

-

Unclip Rear View Camera System Control Module (J772) - 1 - in - direction of arrow - and remove it upward.

Installing

-

Install in reverse order.

-

Perform calibration => [ Rear View Camera System Calibration ] See: Testing and Inspection.
