Window Shaft Strips, Removing And Installing

Window shaft strip

Window frame and window regulator removed

Release clip and remove it. 

-

Drill off rivet heads, knock rivet shafts through and remove window trim strip upward. 

NOTE:  On vehicles with gloss package, window frames do not have to be removed to remove chromed trim strips.

When installing, press window shaft trim on beginning at rear end of door. 

-

Dimension - a - = 0 to 0.5 mm. 

-

Rivet window trim strip beginning from rear and clip it at end with clip - 3 -.
