Hood Shock / Support: Removal and Replacement
Gas-filled Strut

Gas strut

Support hood or secure it from falling down.

Gently lift retaining springs at both ends of gas-filled strut using a screwdriver - arrow - and unclip gas-filled strut.
-
To install, press gas-filled strut onto ball stud and engage.

Install with tube end of strut at body.
