Oil Temperature Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

Oil Level Thermal Sensor

Removing

‹› Engine oil drained. 

-

Disconnect electrical connector - 3 -.

-

Remove the nuts or bolts - 1 - and then remove the Oil Level Thermal Sensor (G266) - 4 -. 

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

‹› Replace the seal - 2 -.

Fill engine oil and check oil level.
