Disconnect connector - C - from Cold Air Door Control Motor (V197).

Remove bolts - A - (torque 10 Nm).

Remove control motor - B -.
-
Carefully pry off connecting element - D - with a screwdriver from control motor - B -.
‹› The connecting element - E - to the door shaft remains on the A/C unit.

Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, when doing this note the following.

Check the position of the control motor shaft - B -, it must be located in the position depicted.

Attach connecting element - A - on to the shaft of control motor - B -.
‹› Only install the connecting element - A - in the position where it engages without being forced in. If pretension is needed to insert the connecting
element, check the motor shaft - B -. It can be rotated 180°.
‹› Check connecting element for proper seating, it must engage in motor shaft and there must not be any clearance between actuator shaft and
connecting element.
‹› If motor shaft - B - is not in the position depicted (the connecting piece can only be attached in this position), connect terminals " 5" and "6" of the
control motor via a 5A fuse to a 12 V battery e.g. using adapter lead => [ Preparing Adapter Cables for Control Motor Actuation ] See:
