High-Intensity Gas Discharge Lamp Control Module

CAUTION!
Danger to life due to high voltage.

‹› Usage and safety information for gas discharge headlamps. Refer to => Electrical System General Information 94.

Removing

-

Remove headlamp, refer to => [ Headlamp ].

-

Remove the bolts - arrows -.

-

Detach control unit from headlamp housing.

-

Disconnect the adapter cable - 4 - and the electrical connector - 3 - on the HID headlamp control module.

-

Remove the HID headlamp control module.

Installing

2008 ] See: Service and Repair/HID Headlamps with Dynamic Cornering Light Overview, A6, Through June 2008.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Check seal - 2 - between gas discharge headlamp control module and headlamp housing for damage.

Install the headlamp. Refer to=> [ Headlamp ].
