‹› Make sure that both puller lever arms are parallel to each other when using greatest force.

-

Loosen the threaded connection - 1 - and remove both control arms - 2 - upward.

The slits in the wheel bearing housing must not be widened using a chisel or similar tool!

Tilt the wheel bearing housing to the side while pulling the drive axle pins out of the wheel hub

-

Secure drive axle to body, e.g. with wire.

-

Remove nut from linkage stub of track control arm.

-

Take off wheel bearing housing.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

Install wheel bearing housing.

-

Install outer drive axle joint into the hub and tighten with a new collar bolt by hand.

Insert linkage stub of track control arm and guide control arm into wheel bearing housing.

-

Remove adhesive residue at stub thread of track control arm and guide control arm.

-

Screw on new self-locking nuts on track control arm and guide control arm and tighten. Refer to => [ Wheel Bearing Housing and Wheel Bearing

counterhold using 6 mm hex socket wrench if necessary.
