Fuel Level Sensor G, Removing And Installing

Removing

NOTE:  All cable ties which are opened or cut open when removing, must be replaced in the same position when installing.

Observe safety precautions
Observe rules for cleanliness

-

Remove fuel delivery unit.

-

Cut cable ties - 2 - and separate electrical connection - 1 -.

-

Release retaining tabs - arrows - with a screwdriver and pull fuel gauge sensor G upward and out.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following.

NOTE:  During installation, the cable ties must be re-installed at the same location.

Insert fuel gauge sensor G in guides on the fuel delivery unit and push down until it engages.

Connect electrical connection and check that it is securely engaged.

Install fuel delivery unit, observing notes for connecting battery.
