Passenger-Side Airbag Module - Component Overview

1. Bolt

Tightening torque: 9 Nm

Replace

2. Bolt

Tightening torque: 6 Nm

Replace

3. Left airbag module bracket
4. Bolt

Tightening torque: 9 Nm

Replace

5. Instrument panel

Secured on instrument panel

Cannot be replaced separately

7. Airbag unit

CAUTION:

Observe safety precautions for work on airbags.

Note assignment of airbag module to instrument panel.

Removing and installing

8. Right airbag module bracket
9. Bolt

Tightening torque: 9 Nm

Replace

10. Bolt

Tightening torque: 6 Nm
