Relay and Fuse Carrier Behind Instrument Panel, Drivers Side, Removing and Installing

Relay And Fuse Carrier Behind Instrument Panel, Drivers Side, Removing And Installing

Removing

-

With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) wire.

-

Remove lower instrument panel cover on drivers side.

-

Remove nuts - arrows - and remove Vehicle Electrical System Control Module J519 - item 2 - with wires connected.

-

Remove relay and fuse carrier - 1 -.

If necessary, proceed with work steps.

-

Unclip fuse holder at relay and fuse carrier.

-

Disconnect relays and unclip respective relay carrier.

NOTE:  For the exact assignment of the relay and fuse carrier behind instrument panel on drivers side, refer to the current wiring diagram.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

-

Install lower instrument panel cover on drivers side.

-

Connect battery. Required actions.

Tightening torque

Relay and fuse carrier with Vehicle

3 Nm

Electrical System Control Module J519 to
central tube for instrument panel
