Press catch - 2 - and disconnect connector - 1 - in - direction of arrow -.

Secure loose connectors with cable ties.

-

Install rear seat bench.

CAUTION:  When connecting the battery, ensure there are no people in the vehicle.

Connect battery ground strap.

-

Follow measures after connecting battery.

Carry out rear side airbag deactivation program in "Guided Fault Finding". The respective adaptation program must be carried out.

Fill out registration card and send to responsible distributor or importer for registration. Place page 3 of registration card in customers vehicle
wallet.

Sticker for deactivated side airbag (rear)

Place sticker for deactivated side airbag - 1 - on left and right at door frame - 2 - of rear doors - arrow -.

-

Any additional stickers required in accordance with national regulations should be attached above sticker shown in illustration.

Continue programs for deactivating side airbags (rear) in "Guided Fault Finding". Appropriate adaption program has to be carried out.

Fill in registration card and return card to importer or regional sales center for registration. Place page 3 of registration card in vehicle wallet.
