Residual Pressure Retaining Valve

‹› do not loosen

Connector piece

‹› 3 Nm

‹› Always observe tightening specification!

‹› only remove if vehicle is raised and air spring damper is unloaded (otherwise, there is a risk of injury from lowering vehicle)

‹› replace air line, refer to => [ Air Lines, Servicing ] See: Air Line/Service and Repair/Procedures or connector piece => [ Connector Piece ] 

See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Connector Piece if leaking

‹› Clean connections before loosening

‹› Air escapes when connections are unscrewed

‹› Colors: front left - red; front right - green

‹› Air line, servicing, refer to => [ Air Lines, Servicing ] See: Air Line/Service and Repair/Procedures

‹› replace connector piece if leaking, refer to => [ Connector Piece ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Connector Piece

Left Front Dampening Adjustment Valve (N336) or Right Front Dampening Adjustment Valve (N337)

Suspension/Dampening Adjustment Valve

‹› Always replace after removal

‹› 90 Nm + 90° additional turn

‹› Always replace after removal

‹› 8 Nm

Left Front Level Control System Sensor (G78) or Right Front Level Control Sensor (G289)

‹› Only remove, install or replace completely, refer to => [ Front Level Control System Sensor ] See: Suspension Control Pressure

Sensor/Switch/Service and Repair/Front Level Control System Sensor

‹› The sensor lever must point forward.

‹› After loosening, check basic setting of headlamp adjustment, refer to => Electrical Equipment 94 Diagnosis and Testing

‹› After loosening, control position must be adapted again in vehicles with air spring suspension, refer to => [ Control Position, Programming ]
