Electronic Damping Control Module

Removing

There is no coding or adapting when exchanging the control module, thus the "replace" feature in "Guided Fault Finding " is not performed in vehicle
diagnosis, testing, and information system (VAS 5051 A).

The new electronic damping control module (J250) does this directly.

‹› The electronic damping control module (J250) is located behind the glove compartment on the bulkhead.

Remove cover - A - from the lower glove compartment cover - B -.

‹› The cover - A - is secured by 4 retainers in the lower glove compartment cover - B -. These retainer can be difficult to remove, therefore be careful

not to damage them when removing the lower glove compartment cover - B -.

Remove bolts - 1 -.

Remove control module - 2 - downward.

Release and remove connectors - arrows - from the control module.

Remove control module - 2 -.
