Removing

-

If control module is replaced, select "Replace" function for respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding".

Use the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051 A).

‹› The level control system control module (J197) is installed on the bulkhead behind the glove compartment.

Remove cover - A - from the lower glove compartment cover - B -.

‹› The cover - A - is secured by 4 retainers in the lower glove compartment cover - B -. These retainers can be difficult to remove, therefore be

careful not to damage them when removing the lower glove compartment cover - B -.

Remove bolts - 1 -.

-

Remove control module - 2 - downward.

Release and remove connectors - arrows - from control module.

Remove control module - 2 -.
