Operating Manual Selector Mechanism Release

Operating manual selector mechanism release 09L, 6 Speed AWD, A/T

Note:

If the battery is disconnected or discharged, the selector lever cannot be shifted from position "P".

When you operate the manual release mechanism the Shift Lock Solenoid N110 will release the lock without current supply.

Remove insert for front ashtray.

Use screwdriver to pry off cover cap in ashtray housing - arrow -.

Use a screwdriver or similar to press on manual release lever - arrow - and simultaneously shift the selector lever out of position "P".
