Headlamp Washer Spray Nozzle: Service and Repair

Headlamp Washer System Spray Nozzles

‹› The nozzles are already adjusted by the manufacturer and must not be adjusted after installation.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Hose Clamp Pliers (V.A.G 1275)

Removing

-

Remove front bumper cover.

‹› Protect bumper cover by laying rag underneath and secure nozzle using pliers.

-

At bumper cover, pull cap - 1 - of nozzles upward and carefully unhook securing tabs - arrows 1 -.

-

Swivel cover downward - arrow 2 - and carefully disengage brackets - 2 - and - 3 -.

-

Disconnect water hose - 1 - from nozzle -  3 -.

-

Remove screws - 2 - and - 4 - and remove spray nozzle.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

‹› Secure all hose connections using standard hose clamps.
