Outer Scuff Plate (sill Panel)

Outer scuff plate, replacing

NOTE:  The outer scuff plate cannot be removed non-destructively.

To remove, unclip outer scuff plate - 1 - from sill panel trim - 2 - across entire length (arrow).

Heat outer scuff plate using heat gun and carefully remove upward.

-

Clean areas to be bonded with rubbing alcohol, then treat with silicon remover and rub dry using cloth.

-

Heat areas to be bonded to 40 Degrees C (104 Degrees F) using heat gun.
