Remove ATF drain plug -1- and drain ATF.

Note:  Always replace drain plug and gasket.

Install drain plug -1- and tighten to - 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.).

Remove ATF test plug -2- .

^

Hang filling hook of V.A.G 1924 into test plug opening, item 2-.

^

Fill with V.A.G 1924 -arrow- until ATF starts draining from test plug hole.

^

Move shift lever to "P".

^

Start engine.

^

While stepping on brake pedal and engine idling, select all transmission ranges, keeping lever in each range for 10 seconds. 

^

Move shift lever to "P".

^

Check ATF level and top up.

Note:  Be sure to follow all instructions concerning ATF level and checking and adding ATF.
