Vehicle Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
Speedometer Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) -G22, Remove & Install
Speedometer Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) -G22, removing and installing
Removing
-
Remove connector for Speedometer Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) -G22.
-
Press down clamp for sensor, turn and remove it.
Installing
Installation is in reverse of removal but in addition do the following:

Replace both O-rings for sensor -arrow-.
-
Insert sensor with Vaseline.
-
Snap clamp in place.
