Wheel Bearing Housing Bonded Rubber Mount

Wheel Bearing Housing Bonded Rubber Mount, Removing And Installing 

The bonded rubber mount in the wheel bearing housing is a two-piece component. Removal is carried out in two steps while installation is carried out
in one.

Special tools, test equipment and auxiliary items 

Removing 

Pressing out first bonded rubber mount
-

Bend bonded rubber mount plate collar over slightly.

-

Install 3292 assembly device and tighten spindle.
Separators must be positioned exactly between bonded rubber mount plate collar and wheel bearing housing.

Install 3293/1 pin.

Position 3349 puller so that separators slide exactly between bonded rubber mount and wheel bearing housing.

-

Turn spindle -2- until bonded rubber mount is pulled slightly out of wheel bearing housing.

-

Tighten bolts -1-.

-

Install 3292/2 assembly device.

-

Press one bonded rubber mount out by turning bolt -1-.
