Left drive flange, removing and installing

VAG 1358A Oil siphoning unit
Removing

Open locking screw (arrow) of differential cover and siphon out approximately 0.5 liters of gear oil from final drive using VAG 1358A oil
siphoning unit.
CAUTION! Syphoning ensures that no gear of/ reaches the ATF. Otherwise, malfunctions may occur in the hydraulic transmission control.

Remove left front wheel.

Remove heat shield for left drive axle.

Remove left drive axle.

Remove vehicle speedometer Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) -G22-.
-
Remove harness connector bracket from mounting bracket for drive flange.
