CAUTION!  The sealing lips of the seal (arrow) may be damaged if the intermediate flange is placed onto the drive pinion without proper care.

Tighten bolts (arrows) by hand and then tighten to final torque.

Note:  When first tightening bolts by hand, make sure the housing gap between intermediate flange for front final drive and transmission housing
decreases evenly at circumference.

Install transfer case.

-

Change ATF and top off after repair work.
