Trim removal wedge 3409

CAUTION:  Observe safety precautions for work on side curtain airbag.

There are two versions of upper A-pillar trim fasteners.

The first version (approx. through introduction of Avant) is described first.

Upper A-pillar trim

Removal

Carefully pry upper A-pillar trim - 1 - up at side curtain airbag clip - 2 - clip with hook as far as stop using Trim Removal Wedge 3409.

Pry out clips - 4 - in center and lower area of upper A-pillar trim - 1 - using Trim Removal Wedge 3409.

Carefully slide upper A-pillar trim - 1 - upward (the side curtain airbag clip - 2 - is slid into keyhole-shaped opening) and remove upper
