The following are permitted:

‹› maximum width/depth = 2 mm.

‹› maximum length = 10 mm

‹› maximum number of chips on the brake disc = 3

Always replace the brake discs on both sides of the axle when:

‹› the brake discs must replaced because they are worn,

‹› the replacement brake disc has been technically modified, which can be determined by the revised part number.

Brake pads likewise must always be replaced on both sides of the axle. Refer to=> [ Front Brake Pads, Ceramic Brakes ] See: Brake

Ceramic Brake Disc Material Break Down

If the ceramic brake disc starts to show material break down on the friction surface greater than 1 cm,² - arrow - then the ceramic brake discs
must be replaced.
