Insert both linkage stubs of upper control arms in wheel bearing housing and tension downward as far as possible using pliers (T40067).

Insert new bolt - 2 - and self-locking nut and tighten. Refer to => [ Wheel Bearing Housing and Wheel Bearing Unit Assembly Overview ] See:
Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Rear Knuckle/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Suspension.
‹› Tie rod (tie rod ball joint) must only be inserted in steering arm - 1 - by hand. Sealing washer - 2 - must not be stressed under any circumstances.

Install tie rod.

Screw on new self-locking nut - 4 - and tighten. Refer to => [ Wheel Bearing Housing and Wheel Bearing Unit Assembly Overview ] See:
